St. Alphonsa Syro-Malabar Forane Catholic Church is situated in Gwinnett county in Loganville which is an idyllic suburb of Atlanta.

We come under the St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Catholic Diocese of Chicago which is under the jurisdiction of the Pope.

Spread over 12 acres of land which houses the current church and the smaller building used initially as the church as well a rectory. We have spacious parking lots as well as playgrounds, basketball courts as well as other amenities.

This church serves a flourishing syro-malabar community of around 300 families.

We have Holy Mass every day . We have catechism on Sundays.

Fr Vinod Madathiparambil George is the current vicar.

On May 11th, 2014 Bishop Mar Jacob Angadiath, the Bishop of Syro Malabar Diocese of Chicago, elevated St Alphonsa Church to a Forane Church and Fr. Mathew Elayadathmadam Varkey MSFS was elevated to Forane vicar(proto-presbyter).
